There are many sensible movies like Dangal , Lakshaya , Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Here i will tell you a number of movies which are underrated but its story lines are just amazing .We can learn many good things from these movies and can find out defects in our way of thinking 

  1. SHAHID - This Rajkumar Rao movie is outstanding. This film is based on absolutely real events .This film reminds us of our pathetic thinking that a muslim is anti national if an complaint has been filed against him , even before the court judgement . Even a lawyer who is fighting for him is also an anti national .This type of political scenario we have in our country. A must watch . It shows low standards of politics in our country.

2. HEY RAM - HEY RAM is a 2000 Indian historical fiction-political thriller film. The film has garnered three National Film Awards. This film was a big flop at box office . This Kamal Haasan and Shahrukh Khan film is a must watch. Again this film shows low standards of Indian politics and shows how these politicians try to spread hatred among Indian communities for their own interest and some personal vengeance . This film tells us to follow the way of peace. It describes mentality of Nathuram Godse.

BLACK FRIDAY - This film is based on Bombay blasts 1993 . This movie reveals the whole conspiracy and the aftermath investigations . This film shows how these politicians use hindus and muslims as puppets for their personal use . This is an absolute fantastic piece of Indian cinema . We can learn a lot from this movie.

4. SHAURYA - This army oriented movie is a gem . This film shows the mindset of a single person as an example how he wants to destroy a whole community for the sins of a single person. This film show us that hatred is not the way forward. We should not blame a whole community for the sins of a few persons . We should respect and believe in our judiciary system rather than deciding the fate of the criminal ourselves.
This movie is based on hollywood movie A Few Good Man .

5. SEHAR - This film shows the efforts of honest policemen to break the chain of nefarious cop-mafia nexus in Uttar Pradesh . Unlike the other cop movies it shows the harsh reality of political pressure in which Indian police works . This is one of the best movies of Arshad Warsi . You should watch it if you are bored of watching commercial movies like Dabangg.
